Josh and his crew have done a wonderful job getting our beds and borders ready for spring. They are professional, polite, on time, and thorough. In my experience it’s unusual to find a company that offers high quality work and high quality communication with clients.

Our mission.

We aim to offer the highest quality landscape and property management services to our clients.  We support local youth and college aged students in Boston by giving students high paying, flexible jobs. This allows them to continue to focus on school work and other important extra curricular activities, while also putting some serious money in their pockets!

Our Start.

Josh and Patrick Johnson started J n J Yard Work when Josh was a sophomore at Boston Latin School and Patrick was a freshman at Boston College. Their first clients were their immediate next door neighbors. They would rake their leaves and mow their lawns after classes and on the weekends. As their client base grew they start asking their college friends to give them a hand. They realized this was a valuable work force and as the company grew they hired landscape professionals as job site managers, while keeping their student work force as laborers.
